Tackling the climate and environmental emergency in West Yorkshire – working towards net zero carbon by 2038

The team at Edge Efficiency are delighted to have secured a three-year contract to deliver environmental support services to businesses in West Yorkshire.

The West Yorkshire Combine Authority (WYCA) Resource Efficiency Initiative is an environmental programme which aims to support companies across West Yorkshire to save money, reduce their carbon footprint and improve energy efficiency.

‘This support builds on the success of the Leeds City Region Resource Efficiency Fund (REF) and the Resource Efficient Business (REBiz) Programme. Both programmes offered SME businesses free resource efficiency audits and financial support in the form of a grant match towards the cost of a wide range of capital projects’.

This is all delivered via independent and impartial consultants who have been hand-picked for their specialist skill set and experience in delivering environmental improvements and savings. For EDGE, this is in addition to the Lancashire Chamber Low Carbon Programme with which EGE has been contracted for 5 years.

Working alongside other consultants, our aim is to ensure that any business, regardless of size or budget, can improve on their energy and environmental efficiencies.
